Technix IT AB places great importance on the protection of personal data, and therefore, we prioritize safeguarding your privacy.
What are personal data?
Personal data is information about an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is an individual who can be identified directly or indirectly, through a name, a personal identification number, location data, an IP address, or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of the natural person.
Why do we collect your personal data?
We only collect your personal data when we have a legal basis for doing so. For each specific processing of personal data where we collect information from you, we inform you whether the processing of personal data is statutory or required to enter into a contract, and whether it is an obligation to provide the personal data or not, as well as the possible consequences if you choose not to do so.
Where do we store your personal data?
Personal data collected from you is stored within the European Economic Area (EEA) but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside the EU/EEA. Technix IT AB uses providers for email, cloud services, etc., where personal data may be transferred to and processed in a country outside the EU/EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable laws. For transfers outside the EU/EEA, Technix IT AB utilizes standard contractual clauses appended to our data processing agreements, in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations and, if required, according to statutory retention periods. When we store your personal data for purposes other than our contractual obligations, such as with your consent when you sign up for our events or register a case in the support portal, we only process the personal data if it is necessary and/or required by law for the purpose. When there is no longer a purpose or a legal obligation to retain the personal data, it is deleted or anonymized. Personal data collected for a specific purpose is kept to a minimum to achieve the purpose, also known as data minimization.
